Dima Sadek was born on February 28, 1978 in Khiam, Lebanon. It traces its origins to the town of Khiam al-Amiliyya in southern Lebanon. She received her first studies at the French Lissa (AKA) in Achrafieh, and continued her studies in political science at Saint Joseph University. She is a Lebanese journalist who worked for Al-Safir newspaper while she was a university student. Upon her graduation, she worked for two years as an assistant to the late Joseph Samaha, the editor-in-chief of Al-Safir newspaper. Dima Sadek (Arabic: ديما صادق, born 28 February 1980) is a Lebanese a journalist and a television host. She is known as one of the activists of the 2019–20 Lebanese protests.

Sadek was born for a Shia Muslim family in Khiam, a town in Southern Lebanon. She attended the French Lycée in Achrafieh (AKA) and continued her studies in political sciences at Saint Joseph University.
